Job-CoPilot was built in an Amsterdam flat in the autumn of 2025, out of frustration with a job market that wastes time on both sides of the table.
The modern job hunt is a volume game played by everyone who shouldn't be playing it. Senior engineers spray 200 CVs a month. Hiring managers drown in 3,000 applications per role. Recruiters filter with keywords that barely read the résumé. The result is a market where nobody reads carefully.
We started asking a smaller question: what if one person had an editor? Not a recruiter, not a coach — an editor. Someone who read every posting carefully, scored the shape of the fit against your own shape, and handed back a tailored answer.
"An editor, not a recruiter. Somebody who reads carefully."
Job-CoPilot is built on careful reading. Every posting is scored 0–100 against your profile, with a one-paragraph rationale you can actually evaluate. Every tailored CV is generated with the job description open in the model's context, not a template.
We use Gemini for reasoning because it's genuinely good at long-context work. We don't hallucinate companies or roles. We don't invent numbers on your CV.
The interface is editorial on purpose. A job hunt is an intimate thing — we thought it deserved a quieter room than the usual job-board strip mall.
Every product ships with a spine. These are ours — enforced in design reviews, PR reviews, and pricing changes.
We don't sell CVs. We don't train on your profile. You can export everything, then delete, in two clicks.
No fake deadlines, no "47 others viewing", no guilt nudges. The product has to earn a click the honest way.
We email when you ask us to. Nothing else. The only streak we track is the one you start yourself.
